There are lots of great ready to run options for a CNCPC like the Intel NUC but for those that want to build up a CNCPC from components, Marty shows us how he built a PC for CNCPC duty that meets the Centroid Minimum PC performance requirements. A step by step video showing the CNCPC build.
Customer Video: How to create a "Report" file
A report file is an essential tool for saving the CNC control configuration and parameters for a specific machine. The report file has many uses. Using a report file to save the cnc control configuration settings will save you a ton of time if you ever have to install a new hard drive or upgrade the Centroid CNC software.
A report file is also required for Centroid Factory technical support. So the tech support crew can "see" how your specific CNC control is configured and provide concise and specific answers to technical questions.
Customer Video: DC Servo Motor Encoder Upgrade
Marty shows us how he was able to save money by reusing a set of Glentek DC servo motors with his new Centroid Allin1DC CNC control board by upgrading the Encoders on the Glentek motors to modern high resolution 2000 Line (8000 counts per revolution) encoders.
Tuning DC Servo motors with a Centroid Allin1DC CNC controller
Centroid guru CNCScott shows us how to use the built in servo turninig software on the Centroid CNC control to tune some DC servo motors on a large Torch cutting machine. This tuning process applies to tuning DC servos on any type of machine tool
How to insert custom messages on a Centroid CNC control
Dwayne Elrod of Elrod Machine show us how he places custom message on the Centroid CNC control.
CNC Mill Training Video
This is a older CNC mill operator training video. While it may be old, most all of the video still applies to today's CNC controls. So forgive the references to "floppy drive" and learn from the rest.
CNC Mill Training Video: Knee Mill Tool Height Setup
This is an older training video, but setting up Tool Heights on a knee mill hasn't change. Setting Tool Height Offsets with a reference Tool explained.
