Objective The purpose of this document is to show how to install a Micro ATX to
Mini PC Upgrade Part #14532 in an older CNC11 M400/T400 Console
1 Remove the back panel
2 Unplug the power supply cables from the motherboard and SSD
Remove the power supply by unscrewing the 4 screws on the side of the
console
3 Unplug the VGA cable from both the motherboard and screen control
board

4 Unplug the screen cables and button board Remove the control
board make sure to save the screws for later
5 Unplug the SSD
6 Remove the 4 nuts and take out mounting plate save nuts for later

7 Unplug the cables from and remove the touchscreen control board on back
of mounting plate
8 Remove the motherboard by unscrewing the 3 standoff stacks and 2
screws

9 Next is installing the PC mounting plate To prep it first get 2 standoffs
and nuts from the old mounting plate and 4 standoffs from the standoff stacks
that were holding the motherboard The nuts for these were taken off of the
old mounting plate as well
10 Install the standoffs on the mounting plate according to the picture below

is just an example of how
some can be mounted
others may need the
standoffs arranged
differently

11 With the touchscreen control board screws that were previously removed
install the control board using the two gold standoffs

12 To mount the Mini PC line up the two holes on the bottom with the holes
on the mounting plate Screw the Mini PC into place using the two M3 x 8
screws that were included with the Mini PC

13 Install the mounting plate using the standoffs and screws from the
motherboard

14 Install the screen control board on the four standoffs using the screws that
were originally with the board Pictured below is another example of how the
screen control board can be mounted
15 Plug in the screen cables and the button board

16 The USB hub can either be plugged in to USB or USB C To free up a
USB port on the Mini pc the USB connector on the hub can be cut off
shown below Plug the hub into the USB C port on the back of the Mini
PC The hub itself can be mounted to the side of the console using double
sided tape

17 Plug the Ethernet cable from the I/O Panel on the side of the console into
the Ethernet port labeled βNETβ The port labeled βCNCβ is for the control
Plug in the USB extension cables from the I/O Panel into the USB hub

18 Plug the HDMI to VGA converter into one of the two HMDI ports on the
Mini PC Plug in the VGA cable

19 To mount the power supply you can either use double sided tape or drill 2
holes in the bottom of the console

20 Use double sided tape to mount the PC power brick on the bottom of the
console close to the power supply Plug the mickey mouse cable from the
power supply into the power brick Plug the PC power cable into the back of
the Mini PC

21 The screen power cable plugs into one of the 4 pin connectors from the
power supply
22 Connect the power cable from the power supply to the console power cable
