Objective This document goes over the proper way to configure the BIOS for the Intel NUC
PCs These units are included in later model CNC11 and all CNC12 M400/T400 Consoles as well
as sold standalone by Centroid If the NUC PC was provided by Centroid the BIOS has already
been set this procedure should only be required if the CMOS battery has had to be replaced and
the settings were lost This document uses screenshots from a 10 th
Generation NUC BIOS the
graphics vary slightly between generations but the settings are the same
1 While booting repeatedly press F2 to enter the BIOS
2 Once in the BIOS navigate to cooling and change Fan Control Mode from
βBalancedβ to βCoolβ

3 Navigate to Security Click βSupervisor Passwordβ Set password to 159 Confirm
password and click βOKβ
4 Navigate to Power Click βSecondary Power Settingsβ at the bottom

5 Scroll all the way down and change βAfter Power Failureβ from βStay Offβ to βPower
Onβ
6 Press F10 to save and exit the bios
