TB216 Rev1 Swing Arm Control Wire Change
Purpose
To prevent unwanted movement of the swing arm during rare software anomalies
Wiring Changes
Instead of the swing arm control wire going directly to the swing arm contactor it will pass through the E Stop
contactor The schematic can be downloaded at

1 Remove the Brown wire from the AUX2/CHILLER connector on the RTK3
2 Move the Red wire from the AUX2/CHILLER connector on the RTK3 and place it where the Brown wire was
that you just removed
3 Connect the Brown wire that you just removed to the E Stop contactor Depending on where your system
was wired the E Stop contactor may be different
For Type 1 E Stop
The Brown wire from the Transformer 24VAC will be connected to L4 on the E Stop contactor Connect your
Brown wire that you removed to T4 on the E Stop contactor
For Type 2 E Stop
The Brown wire from the Transformer 24VAC is connected to 53 on the E Stop contactor Connect your
Brown wire that you removed to 54 on the E Stop contactor
Note The system should be upgraded to use external contactors for the carousel and flood motors If
the 3 phase is still running through the ice cube relay's on the RTK3 please change this as described
in TB202
